How long does the parade last?
Approximately 2 hours

What time should I arrive to get a good spot to watch the parade?
We advise you to get to the parade early to get a good viewing space along Randol Mill Road from Dallas Cowboys stadium to Texas Rangers ballpark. Some will begin arriving at 9am.

Are folding chairs permitted on the parade route?
Yes

Are there restrooms available?
Yes, there will be portable restrooms located along the entire parade route and parking lots for use by spectators.

Parade Rules and Regulations

Throwing any item onto the parade route will not be permitted.
No items may be sold along the parade route unless you are a pre-approved credentialed vendor.
Vehicles parked illegally or obstructing emergency lanes and the parade route will be towed.
Items not permitted along the parade route include: weapons, poles, glass bottles and any item that may become a projectile, cause injury or interfere with the parade or spectators’ enjoyment of the parade.
Please leave noise makers at home because they can scare the animals in the parade.

Parade Route
The Toyota North Texas MLK Parade start on AT&T Way between Cowboys Way and Randol Mill Road, travel east on Randol Mill Road to Ballpark Way, north on Ballpark Way and will end on Road to Six Flags. The official parade performance zone will be in front of Texas Live! on Randol Mill Road.

March in the Parade
The Toyota North Texas MLK Parade begins a regional tradition. On January 15, 2018 excited spectators will line Randol Mill Road to see the bands, walkers, performers, cars, floats and horses pass by.

There are four types of parade entries: corporation/community organization, marching band, performance/specialty group and equestrian. If you or your group is interested in participating in the parade, please complete the appropriate participant application. Once your application is received, it will be reviewed for consideration. Applicants who are selected to participate in the parade will be notified in a timely manner.

**Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2018 parade. Applications for the 2019 Toyota North Texas MLK Parade will be available on our website in February 2018.
